Licenses & credits

The app makes zero third-party requests — every asset is served from this origin, including the one font it ships to your browser. Because that font binary is distributed to every visitor, the licenses of everything inside it must travel with it; they are reproduced below.

Proprietary software — all rights reserved. The application itself is not distributed under an open-source license; the third-party font notices below are reproduced only because that font binary is shipped to every visitor's browser.

Third-party components bundled with the Software (for example, the fonts served to

Bundled font — third-party notices

The app serves one font file to every visitor's browser: 3270NerdFontMono-Regular.woff2. It is the rbanffy "3270" terminal typeface, patched by the Nerd Fonts project to add terminal/developer icon glyphs, then converted to WOFF2. Its contents therefore carry two layers of licensing.

1. Base typeface — 3270 font

rbanffy/3270font — License: BSD-3-Clause.

Copyright (c) 2011-2022 Ricardo Banffy; (c) 1993-2011 Paul Mattes;

(c) 1990 Jeff Sparkes; (c) 1989 Georgia Tech Research Corporation.

Full BSD-3 text (with the Debian-logo / Ubuntu-trademark sub-notices) is served at /fonts/LICENSE-3270.txt.

2. Nerd Fonts icon glyphs

Nerd Fonts (patcher: MIT) releases its patched fonts under SIL OFL-1.1 and aggregates glyphs from the sources below. Attribution is reproduced for every set the patcher may embed:

Attribution required by CC-BY-4.0 is hereby given to Microsoft (Codicons) and Fonticons, Inc. (Font Awesome free icons). The full SIL OFL-1.1 and MIT license texts, together with the complete notice, are served at /fonts/FONT-LICENSES.txt. Apache-2.0: apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0; CC-BY-4.0: creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0.

None of these is a copyleft license that reaches application code. Font copyleft (OFL) reaches only the font file itself, never the software it is bundled with — the SIL OFL FAQ expressly permits bundling into, and selling, commercial software. The only obligation is to retain these notices, which is done here and at /fonts/.

Prefer the raw notices? They ship alongside the font itself: /fonts/FONT-LICENSES.txt and /fonts/LICENSE-3270.txt.
